Our Vision

MAIN helps Mississippians understand, use, and apply artificial intelligence through free AI courses in Mississippi, statewide partnerships, practical AI resources, and coordinated support for education, workforce, government, and industry. MAIN serves as Mississippi’s coordinated statewide AI initiative, connecting institutions, communities, and partners to prepare the state for an AI-driven economy.
What is MAIN? The Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network (MAIN) is the nation’s first statewide AI initiative, advancing AI education, workforce training, responsible adoption, and practical AI implementation across Mississippi.
MAIN was established in response to the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and its growing impact across education, workforce development, government, industry, and the economy. Through strategic partnerships, MAIN supports practical AI learning, implementation, and awareness statewide.
