Public Enrollment — Workforce & Community Learners

Workforce members, job seekers, and other Mississippi learners can enroll through participating community colleges. Current public enrollment links are listed in the Participating Institutions section below.

K–12 Educators — CEU Enrollment

In FY26, over 1,000 K–12 educators have enrolled in Intro to GenAI (K–12) and are earning up to 6.4 CEUs. Two institutions currently offer CEU enrollment for K–12 educators:

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) — No Cost

Up to 6.4 CEUs at no cost through Intro to GenAI (K–12).

Southwest Mississippi Community College (SMCC) — $20 Certificate Fee

Free, self-paced online courses open to the public. K–12 educators can earn up to 6.4 CEUs with a $20 fee to receive the certificate.

If you are affiliated with a Mississippi public higher education institution, you may already have access to MAIN AI courses through your institution’s existing systems.

MAIN courses are delivered through the Canvas learning management system — flexible, accessible, and designed around your schedule.


  • Open-ended — start when you are ready, no fixed term

  • Self-paced — move through material on your own schedule

  • Fully online — complete coursework from anywhere

  • Structured — modules include slides, videos, discussions, quizzes, and assignments

Many courses include up to 64 hours of learning content organized across 16 modules.

Certificates, Badges & Credit

Learners may have opportunities to earn certificates, badges, and other professional development credentials through MAIN courses.

  • School Executive Management Institute (SEMI) credit
