Anyone may sign up, regardless of age or affiliation. Seats and licenses are limited: access may be held or waitlisted, and may be withdrawn for non-use. Course credentials and educator CEUs remain subject to their separate requirements.

MAIN AI Foundations
Choose a course and use its View and register link. Complete MGCCC registration, then learn in MGCCC Canvas. AI in Business, AI in Healthcare, AI in Manufacturing, AI in Cybersecurity, and AI for Educators (K-12) offer a micro-credential in the form of a MAIN certificate of completion after required completion and verification. AI for Educators also offers up to 2.4 K–12 CEUs through MGCCC. NVIDIA Generative AI prepares learners for NVIDIA certification exams and awards no MAIN certificate or CEUs. Currently offered through MGCCC, with rollout planned at additional MAIN partner institutions.
No paid AI subscription is required to complete these six Foundations courses. Free AI tool options are sufficient for required practice activities.
AI in Manufacturing
Developed by MAIN. Examine predictive maintenance, machine vision, and robot safety, then practice drafting and checking shift handovers with AI and develop an application plan for manufacturing work.
No prior AI or coding experience is required.

Developed by MAIN. Distinguish clinical and administrative AI uses, check healthcare product claims against FDA records, and practice drafting and revising fictional healthcare documents while protecting patient information.

Derived from Intel curriculum. Use AI to design differentiated lessons and higher-order assessments, draft classroom policies and family communications, and practice school administration tasks while preserving educator judgment and student privacy.

NVIDIA Generative AI
Derived from NVIDIA curriculum. Study tokenization, transformers, multimodal and diffusion models, fine-tuning, and LLM orchestration using NVIDIA teaching materials, with optional Python labs demonstrating model architectures and training.
Assumes a basic understanding of AI concepts. No programming is required to complete the course; Python labs are optional.
Prepares learners for the NVIDIA-Certified Associate exams in Generative AI LLMs and Generative AI Multimodal. This course does not award a MAIN certificate or CEUs.
Industry AI Courses
Delivered through Coursera and offered through MGCCC only. Industry AI Courses are separate from the planned Foundations rollout to other MAIN partner institutions.
Microsoft 365 Copilot
Learn to configure Microsoft 365 Copilot, write contextual prompts, and use it to draft Word documents, create PowerPoint presentations, analyze Excel data, and support team workflows.

Micro-credentials and CEUs
All CEU requests for eligible MAIN courses through MGCCC are due June 21, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. This includes AI for Educators (K-12) and CEU-eligible Industry AI Courses through Coursera. Complete the required learning before requesting credit; the CEU deadline is earlier than the June 30 training end date.
If your license renews before June, complete your training and submit your CEU request well before your renewal date. Verification and processing may take several weeks. Do not wait until the June deadline if you need your CEUs sooner.
- These courses do not currently carry college credit.
- Micro-credentials are awarded as MAIN certificates of completion or provider certificates delivered through Coursera. Awards vary by course; each card identifies the award, issuer, and any eligible K–12 CEUs. CEUs have separate requirements.
- AI for Educators (K-12): 0.2 CEUs per verified module, up to 2.4 CEUs.
- Industry AI Courses: the listed CEUs are available to K-12 educators through MGCCC after successful completion of the full course, not individual modules.

Six additional Mississippi community colleges maintain public enrollment pages for MAIN-developed or MAIN-branded courses from the earlier catalog. Intel® AI for Workforce curriculum resources
Intel® AI for Workforce provides modular AI course content for community colleges and other workforce-focused institutions. Colleges can add modules to existing courses or use the curriculum to develop AI courses, certificates, and associate degree programs.
MAIN developed the current AI in Business, AI in Healthcare, AI in Manufacturing, and AI in Cybersecurity courses. AI for Educators (K-12) is derived from Intel curriculum, and NVIDIA Generative AI is derived from NVIDIA curriculum. MAIN also adapted Intel curriculum for earlier Canvas-based courses in Mississippi; the curriculum areas below describe that earlier offering.
