Workforce Readiness on the Gulf Coast
Task force members toured the Harrison County Campus, including the STEM Building and advanced training labs. They also saw how fields such as information technology, automotive technology, and virtual reality are using emerging tools in hands-on learning environments.
This work matters because AI readiness is not limited to one sector. Manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, tourism, education, and public services all need workers who can understand and use AI responsibly. Therefore, MAIN and MGCCC are helping connect classroom learning with real employer needs.
