Free AI training is open now through June 30, 2027. Mississippi K-12 teachers can complete eligible MAIN courses through MGCCC and request CEUs by June 21, 2027.

From free training to CEU credit
The course and the credit request are separate steps. Free AI training is open now through June 30, 2027. FY27 means fiscal year 2027: July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027. You can enroll and start learning now; you do not need to wait until 2027.
All CEU requests for eligible MAIN courses through MGCCC are due June 21, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. This includes AI for Educators and CEU-eligible Industry AI Courses through Coursera. Complete the required learning before requesting credit; the CEU deadline is earlier than the June 30 training end date.
1. Choose a course
Start with the free, online AI for Educators (K-12) course, derived from Intel curriculum, or compare other options in MAIN’s course catalog.
2. Complete the work
Finish the required AI for Educators module or the full Coursera course, and keep your completion documentation.
3. Follow the right credit process
All eligible course CEU requests are due June 21, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Use the same CEU request form on the credit page for all eligible courses and select the course you completed. AI for Educators supports module-by-module requests; Coursera CEUs require full-course completion.

Complete and verify a module, then use the shared CEU request form on the credit page and select AI for Educators (K-12). Submit by June 21, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
Coursera options
Eligible Industry AI Courses offer K-12 CEUs after full-course completion, not module by module. Compare current courses and amounts, then use the shared CEU request form on the credit page and select the course you completed.

Which courses qualify for CEUs?
AI for Educators (K-12) is the module-by-module pathway. Selected Coursera courses qualify after full-course completion. Both use the shared CEU request form on the credit page. See the current course options and amounts, then review the claim instructions before submitting.
Do CEUs arrive automatically after course completion?
No. Use the shared CEU request form and select your course. For AI for Educators (K-12), request CEUs after completing a module.
