All fourteen current options are no-cost, online, and self-paced: six MAIN AI Foundations courses and eight Industry AI Courses. Use the course-specific actions below to register or request Coursera access. MAIN AI Foundations courses are planned for rollout through additional participating MAIN institutions.

MAIN AI Foundations

Each MAIN AI Foundations course earns a micro-credential. K-12 educators can earn up to 2.4 CEUs through MGCCC through Intel AI for Educators. AI Foundations courses are currently available through MGCCC and are planned for future rollout through participating MAIN partner institutions.

AI courses delivered on the Coursera platform. Offered through MGCCC only, and not part of the planned rollout to other MAIN partner institutions. Credential and K-12 educator CEU details are provided below.

Coursera access is specific to MGCCC. First: create your account through MGCCC Enrollment. Then: after your account has been created, email MAIN@mgccc.edu to request Coursera access.

Each Coursera course listed below awards a micro-credential upon successful completion. K–12 educators may also earn the CEUs shown for each course after successfully completing the full course. Coursera CEUs are not awarded module by module.

Six additional Mississippi community colleges maintain public enrollment pages for MAIN-developed or MAIN-branded courses from the earlier catalog. All seven links below were verified as live on August 22, 2026. Course availability, fees, CEUs, certificates, and enrollment steps vary by college, so confirm the details on the institution’s page before registering.

Intel® AI for Workforce provides modular AI course content for community colleges and other workforce-focused institutions. Colleges can add modules to existing courses or use the curriculum to develop AI courses, certificates, and associate degree programs.

MAIN adapted the Intel curriculum for earlier Canvas-based courses in Mississippi. The curriculum areas below are separate from MAIN’s current FY27 self-paced courses.

Each MAIN AI Foundations course and each Coursera Industry AI Course earns a micro-credential upon successful completion. Intel AI for Educators offers 0.2 CEUs per verified module, up to 2.4 CEUs. For Coursera options, K-12 educators may earn the listed CEUs only after successful completion of the full course; Coursera CEUs are not awarded module by module. Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Prompting Essentials, ChatGPT Foundations for Teachers, Generative AI Cybersecurity & Privacy for Leaders: A Primer, and Generative AI for Everyone each offer 0.5 CEUs. Google AI Professional Certificate, Claude: Real-World AI for Everyone, and AI-Powered K-12 Teaching and Learning each offer 1.0 CEU.

The new courses are currently delivered through MGCCC. Credential and enrollment steps may vary when MAIN AI Foundations courses become available through additional partner institutions.
