What is the Manufacturing AI Playbook?

The Manufacturing AI Playbook is voluntary planning and workforce guidance for evaluating appropriate AI uses in manufacturing. It brings together use-case selection, risk controls, data and security questions, human review, pilot steps, measurement, training, and links to related MAIN resources.

The playbook does not recommend turning safety-critical, engineering, quality, employment, or equipment-control decisions over to an AI system.
