Start with a career or training goal

Readers who want structured training can review three courses added for September: AI-Powered K-12 Teaching and Learning from Arizona State University, Generative AI Cybersecurity & Privacy for Leaders: A Primer from Vanderbilt University, and Generative AI for Everyone from DeepLearning.AI. All three are delivered through Coursera. The course announcement explains the content and educator credit for each offering, while the MAIN course catalog provides the current enrollment process.
Find guidance for schools, organizations, and technical teams
The September issue connects several resources released in August. The Cybersecurity AI Playbook organizes seven bounded workflows around NIST IR 8596 and a controlled 30-day pilot. A separate education resource release covers faculty, student, and dual enrollment decisions through four permission levels.
The newsletter also includes the THESEUS Secure AI Lab, developed at MGCCC for hands-on instruction, workforce training, and controlled experimentation. Its published architecture distinguishes the required media-quarantine workstation from optional server, CPU-cluster, and GPU-workstation domains. That distinction gives organizations considering a local AI lab a concrete starting point for planning.

AI in Manufacturing Day is scheduled for September 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Biloxi. The newsletter lists industry discussions, research spotlights, workshops, and networking for manufacturing, research, education, and workforce participants.
